The story follows , a pathologically lazy and alcoholic man who avoids work at all costs. His life revolves around non-stop talking and drinking with similarly aimless friends while relying entirely on the earnings of his hardworking wife, Gowri . The narrative is framed through Manja's interaction with Nani , a blind man who wants to direct a movie based on Manja's life.
