| Problem | Solution | | :--- | :--- | | Intakt doesn’t show up in DAW | Ensure your DAW is scanning the correct folder. If your DAW is 64-bit only, it cannot see 32-bit plugins. Use a bridge. | | “Error - Cannot create sound generator” | This is a copy protection error. Your serial may be invalid or the license file corrupted. Reinstall and re-enter the serial. | | GUI is invisible or black | Disable DirectWrite / hardware acceleration in your DAW. On XP VM, ensure 32-bit color depth is set in Display settings. | | Samples pop or crackle | Increase the buffer size in your DAW. Intakt’s disk streaming is primitive; load short loops entirely into RAM (enable “RAM mode”). | | Can’t save presets | Run the DAW as Administrator (or the VM as Admin) to allow writing to Program Files . |
