Asterix and Obelix, with their superhuman strength, must travel to Rome, infiltrate the Circus Maximus, and save their friends. The film was a box office hit in Europe, but its journey to India is where the magic truly happened.

Many fans remember owning a VCD of this movie. The cover art was often a collage of the characters, and the print quality was usually 480p or 360p. Watching a grainy, Hindi-dubbed version on a CRT television is a core memory for many.
