Sometimes, the hardware integration can become buggy. Common issues include:

Click “Upgrade”. The printer LCD (if present) will show “Bootloader active” or a progress bar. Do not interrupt power or disconnect USB . The process takes 2–4 minutes.

Installing the wrong firmware version (e.g., using V1.2 on a V1.3 board) can permanently brick your device. Always verify the board version by opening the casing if the software is inaccessible.

Do flash this YG 912M V1.3 firmware onto a different Foston model (e.g., FS 440DT, FS 480DT) or non-Foston printer. Brick risk is real – recovery may require JTAG or mainboard replacement.
