In the vast, chaotic universe of Japanese television, two genres reign supreme: the (team-based superhero) series, immortalized by Super Sentai (Power Rangers), and the equally influential oppai (busty) comedy niche. For decades, these two worlds existed in parallel, never fully crossing the streams. That is, until the 2015 direct-to-video (V-Cinema) phenomenon, Bakunyu Sentai Fiber Star . The title itself is a linguistic pun bomb: Bakunyu can mean "explosive milk," but in context, it’s a play on bakuhatsu (explosion) and kyonyu (big breasts). Fiber Star , meanwhile, mocks dietary supplement ads of the era.
