| Feature | Status on M1 Mac | Notes | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | | ✅ Working | Preamps, Hi-Z (Guitar), and Line inputs work perfectly. | | Outputs (Main & Headphones) | ✅ Working | Stereo output works. | | Phantom Power (+48V) | ✅ Working | Hardware button on the unit works fine. | | Ground Lift | ✅ Working | Hardware button works fine. | | MIDI I/O | ✅ Working | Standard MIDI over USB works. | | Low Latency Monitoring (Direct Mix) | ✅ Working | The "Direct Monitor" knob on the unit works via hardware. | | Loopback (Internal recording of PC audio) | ❌ Broken | This is the biggest loss. The proprietary driver allowed you to capture computer audio internally. Without the driver, Loopback is gone. | | Sample Rate Control via Software | ❌ Broken | You must set the sample rate in your DAW or Audio MIDI Setup. The hardware buttons on the unit do nothing in Class Compliant mode. | | Multi-client routing | ⚠️ Limited | Only one app can use the interface at a time in standard mode. | roland quad-capture driver mac m1
