Interconnect wire (only connect to other USI units).

: Attach the mounting bracket to your ceiling's electrical box using the provided screws.

Clean every 6 months (when you change your clocks or your furnace filter).

: Pull the battery pull tab to initialize the 9V backup. Snap the quick connector into the back of the alarm, then twist the unit clockwise onto the bracket until it locks.
