A Skinout (or “Skin Out”) is a type of dancehall party where the dress code is explicitly minimal. Female patrons are encouraged to wear bikinis, pasties, lingerie, or custom “battle gear” that exposes more skin than it covers. The name derives from the Jamaican English phrase “skin out” —to bare one’s skin.
