After a hiatus to focus on theater and film, Sal returned to music in the mid-90s with a modernized pop sound.
This album was accompanied by a short film directed by Alessandro Siani. "Rossetto e Caffè" (Lipstick and Coffee) is a metaphor for a one-night stand. The album is notably shorter (8 tracks) but every track is a radio edit. It peaked at #7 on the FIMI Italian Album Chart —his highest position ever.
