The Epson L3250, like all modern inkjet printers, performs automatic cleaning cycles. Excess ink is channeled into a (a highly absorbent felt pad) inside the printer.

You can reset once without changing the pad. But before your second reset, you should open the printer (or take it to a shop) to replace the foam pad or install an external waste ink tank.
