Tony Horton famously says, "How do you know what to do if you don't know what you did?" Chest & Back is a numbers game. You must write down your reps and weights. The goal in Week 1 might be to simply survive. By Week 3, the goal is to beat your previous numbers by one or two reps. Without a worksheet, you are flying blind.
There is no shame in pausing the DVD. In fact, it is encouraged. If the video moves to the next set and your muscles are burning too much to maintain proper form, hit pause. Shake it out. Reset.
