Unlike typical K-dramas that use quick cuts and shaky cam to hide poor fighting, My Name uses long, wide shots. The training montage in Episode 1 feels hyper-realistic. Punches land with a wet thud. Ji-woo doesn’t look like a superhero; she looks like a desperate, hurt animal learning to bite back.
