Manufactured by Tactrix, the Openport 2.0 was originally designed for the Subaru and Mitsubishi tuning communities (specifically for use with EcuFlash). However, because it fully supports the J2534 standard, it became a sleeper hit in the Mercedes community.

Without Pin 8 power, Xentry will see the ignition ON but will fail to identify the VIN.

The Openport 2.0 does not use pin 8 by default. The fix: You need an OBD2 Breakout Cable or a Modified Openport 2.0 .
