The return of Grant, Sattler, and Malcolm is both Dominion’s greatest asset and its most cynical manipulation. Their scenes together are warm and witty; Goldblum’s Malcolm delivers chaos theory riffs with trademark flair. But they are largely reactive. Grant spends most of the film being dragged from one crisis to another, his paleontological expertise reduced to identifying dinosaurs on the fly.
