Germany has been a focal point for the SCS map team for several updates. In 1.48, the city of Hannover receives a massive makeover. Previously, Hannover was a flat, somewhat generic city that players passed through on their way to Hamburg or Berlin. Now, it is a bustling metropolis with complex intersections, unique landmarks, and a revamped layout that challenges drivers with tighter turns and more realistic traffic flow.
Players now have access to Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS) and Traction Control (ASR/TRC). These systems assist in preventing wheel lock-up and managing oversteer or understeer during sharp turns or slippery conditions.
