Check the "Main pad counter" box, click Check , then click Initialize to reset the counter to zero.
A: Yes. The T04D1 is the user-replaceable front box. There is also a secondary internal pad. If that fills, the printer is essentially dead unless you disassemble the entire chassis.
Remove the resetter tool. Re-insert your original (or new) maintenance box. Close the front cover. The error message should disappear. Go to Settings > Maintenance > Waste ink box —the counter should read 0%.
