He was born in 1569 CE (974 AH) in Kashan, Iran, and died in 1641 CE (1051 AH) in the same city. Al-Kashani was a prolific writer and produced numerous works on various aspects of Islamic sciences, including Quranic exegesis, hadith, and spirituality.
