Batch rename is standard now, but PowerDesk did it with a live preview matrix in 2009. You can add date stamps, sequential numbers, replace text using wildcards, and change case (Title Case, UPPER, lower) before executing a single change.

After installation, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\VCOM\PowerDesk Pro\ (or Avanquest). Right-click PowerDesk.exe → Properties → Compatibility tab: PowerDesk Pro 8.5.7.30
