Many players confuse the base game with the expansion. Covert Strike did not change the engine, but it doubled the mission count (from 19 to 37). It also included a full SDK (Software Development Kit) for modders. If you see a file size closer to 1.8 GB, you likely have the Covert Strike compilation.
