To understand Banda Los Recoditos, you must understand their lineage. They are the "younger brothers" of the legendary (La Madre de Todas las Bandas). Formed in 1989 (though their major label debut came later), Los Recoditos were originally a side project featuring the younger members of the El Recodo family, including the Valenzuela and Lizárraga dynasties. For years, they played locally, but it wasn't until 2010 that they exploded onto the international scene.
