Liliana Art Modeling Studios -

In addition to its academic programs, Liliana Art Modeling Studios also hosts a range of events and exhibitions that bring the artistic community together. From artist talks and workshops to gallery openings and critiques, the studio provides numerous opportunities for students to engage with peers, industry professionals, and the wider artistic community.

Unlike open life drawing sessions, which can be chaotic and unpredictable, specialized studios often provide a cohesive educational journey. They serve three primary functions:

“As a model, this is the only studio where I feel like an artist. They warm us up with stretching, they feed us, and the artists actually introduce themselves. It is a healing space.” —

This six-week intensive focuses strictly on live, un-posed drawing. Artists learn to measure proportions using the "sight-size" technique. Sessions are silent except for the scratch of graphite and the metronome timer that signals a pose change.
