Season 2 picks up almost immediately where the first season left off. Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), the young engineering graduate turned Village Panchayat Secretary, is still navigating the slow-paced, often baffling life of the fictional village of Phulera in Uttar Pradesh.
The central conflict of Season 2 revolves around the village’s unreliable electricity supply. When a neighboring village gets a new transformer, the men of Phulera, led by the fiery Up-Pradhan (Sunita Rajwar), decide to steal it. Abhishek must navigate the legal and moral mess while trying to get a legal transformer sanctioned.
