Castlevania- Nocturne Jun 2026
The most striking departure from the original series is the setting. Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades fought in a vague, medieval version of Wallachia—a world of mud, stone castles, and primitive superstition. Nocturne leaps forward three hundred years to the eve of the French Revolution.
Nocturne expands the magic system significantly. While the original series focused on the Devil Forgemasters (Hector and Isaac) creating night creatures, Nocturne introduces a new Forgemaster: . A twisted man of faith, the Abbott believes that vampires are God’s punishment for the revolution. To fight the "atheist" revolutionaries, he forges an army of night creatures, effectively becoming the very monster he professes to hate. Castlevania- Nocturne
"I was helping." Alucard gestured vaguely toward the east. "There are other horrors. The Forgemaster's disciples are digging up the graves of every battlefield from the Rhine to the Pyrenees. While you fight the queen, I fight the pawns. It is... undignified." The most striking departure from the original series
Richter almost laughed. Almost. "You think dignity matters? She drank the blood of a Sekhmet. She controls the night sky. Maria's beasts can't scratch her. My magic is like throwing firecrackers into an ocean." He looked down at his own hands. The hands that had failed to save his mother. "I'm not the Belmont she fears." At the heart of the storm is Richter Belmont, voiced with brooding intensity by Edward Bluemel. Richter is the grandson of Trevor and Sypha, carrying the weight of a legacy he barely understands. In the Castlevria: Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night games, Richter is a confident, almost cocky hero. The show, true to the tradition of the Netflix adaptation, deconstructs this.
