Unlike traditional romance films where lovers rebel against their parents, Krish and Ananya make a conscious decision: they will not marry until they have the full blessing of both families.
However, the film is not without criticism. Some argue it relies heavily on stereotypes (loud Punjabis vs. introverted Tamilians).
