Created in 1956, this is the most modern Kodokan Kata and the most direct source for Atemi Waza study. It consists of 21 techniques divided into unarmed and armed attack defenses. Many defenses in Goshin Jutsu utilize kicks, punches, and strikes to soft targets before transitioning into a throw or lock.
