However, Lovecraft’s obsession with cosmic insignificance, body horror, and forbidden knowledge seeps into almost every other episode. Del Toro, a lifelong Lovecraft fan who has been trying to make At the Mountains of Madness for decades, uses this show as a proving ground for his Mythos ambitions.
