Technically, the PC version was a mixed bag. As a console port, it suffered from the usual ailments: limited graphical settings in the menu, texture pop-in, and erratic behavior at certain frame rates. While Criterion was known for supporting their games, the community eagerly awaited patches to smooth out the rough edges. Over the course of several months, the game received incremental updates, culminating in the release of the 1.4 Patch in late 2012/early 2013.
