Around the 20-minute mark, night falls. Dr. Bose lights an oil lamp (the power is indeed cut off). He plays his tanpura to soothe Tithi. But as the drone of the tanpura fills the dark room, the sound inexplicably shifts. The tanpura begins to play a different melody—the same lullaby from Tithi’s nightmare.
