Security Device Not Found Wilcom 2006 Windows 7 Direct

Wilcom, like many high-end professional software suites from the early 2000s, utilizes a hardware-based copy protection system. This usually comes in the form of a USB or Parallel Port dongle (often a Rainbow Sentinel or Hasp key). When you launch Wilcom, it sends a signal to this physical piece of hardware. If the dongle responds with the correct encryption key, the software opens. If the computer cannot communicate with the dongle, the software assumes it is an unauthorized installation and displays "Security Device Not Found."

Restart your PC and tap repeatedly before the Windows logo appears. Security Device Not Found Wilcom 2006 Windows 7
