"¿Buscando tesoro? (Looking for treasure? The Argentos can’t even find their own house keys.)

The climax involves the mask mysteriously "crying" red liquid (which turns out to be melted wax from a cheap candle behind it), leading everyone to believe it’s a supernatural omen. In true Casados con Hijos fashion, the resolution is absurd: Tito admits he bought the mask from a gas station on the highway, and the "curse" was just a series of coincidences exacerbated by the Argentos’ own incompetence.

Meanwhile, Pepe’s son, Alfio "Coqui" Argento (Darío Lopilato), adopts a new persona to increase his success with women. He takes on the nickname "El Tumba" to appear more dangerous and even forms a cumbia villera band.

Fans often rank among the top 10 episodes of the entire series. It’s praised for its tight pacing, Francella’s deadpan delivery, and the unexpected visual gag of the mask slowly rotating on its own (revealed later to be caused by a loose nail). Critics at the time noted that the episode proved the Argentine version could stand on its own, no longer relying on the original Married... with Children scripts.
