The STK411-210E requires an input signal of about 200mV to reach full power (30W into 8Ω). If your source is weaker (e.g., smartphone output ~0.5V RMS is fine, but a microphone needs preamp), add an op-amp stage (NE5532 or TL072) before the IC.
