When a neighborhood forms a grocery delivery network for the elderly during a pandemic, that is anarchy in action. When a community rebuilds a neighbor’s barn after a fire (a historical example common in agrarian societies), that is anarchy in action. These networks are decentralized, non-hierarchical, and driven by the understanding that my well-being is inextricably linked to yours. They are not charities, where the rich give to the poor; they are solidarities, where equals support equals.
