PKGs work on every PS3 model (Fat, Slim, and Super Slim) using the internal software emulator.

If you have a newer Slim model or a Super Slim model that cannot install full CFW, you must use PS3HEN. This is a soft-mod that temporarily patches the console's memory upon boot to allow homebrew. While slightly less convenient than full CFW, it works perfectly for playing PS2 games. PKGs work on every PS3 model (Fat, Slim,
