Update 1.4 was mandatory for players who wanted to transfer their Hoenn Pokémon to Pokémon Sun and Moon via Pokémon Bank . Pokemon Omega Ruby Update 1.4
So, the next time you boot up Omega Ruby and see that "Ver. 1.4" in the corner of the title screen, tip your hat. You are playing the definitive, final, and most stable version of the Hoenn remakes. As always with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company,
