Warranty status is sometimes region-locked. A unit purchased in Japan and then used in Germany may show as invalid on the global portal. Try changing the region at the top of the Synology website (e.g., select “Asia Pacific” or “Europe”). If that fails, contact Synology support directly with proof of purchase.
