The story follows Oscar, a young American drug dealer living in Tokyo. Within the first twenty minutes, Oscar is shot and killed by police in a grimy club bathroom. What follows is a sprawling, hallucinatory journey as Oscar’s spirit floats above the city, revisiting his past and observing the fallout of his death.

The plot is deceptively simple. Oscar (Nathaniel Brown) is a young American drug dealer living in Tokyo with his sister, Linda (Paz de la Huerta).
