The Town tells the story of Ben Coughlin (played by Ben Affleck), the leader of a Boston-based Irish-American gang. After a successful string of bank robberies, Ben and his crew, including Krista Coughlin (Rebecca Hall), Pete Macaulay (Chris Cooper), and Jem Coughlin (Jeremy Renner), plan to rob a new bank in Charlestown. However, things take a complicated turn when Ben falls in love with Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall), a witness to one of the robberies.
