The transgender community is not a separate “add-on” to LGBTQ+ culture but a foundational pillar. From Stonewall to ballroom to today’s legal battles, trans people have shaped the movement’s most radical and resilient aspects. While challenges—both external and internal—remain, a truly inclusive LGBTQ+ culture must recognize that without the "T," the struggle against all forms of gender and sexual oppression is incomplete. The future of queer liberation is, necessarily, trans liberation.
