The narration states that a companion named asked the Imam to teach him a Ziyarat for Imam Hussain (AS). In response, Imam Mahdi (AS) dictated this text. The Imam begins by greeting Hussain, then movingly excuses himself for not being physically present at Karbala to fight alongside his grandfather. He then vividly describes the horrific wounds, the thirst, and the loneliness of the martyrs.
May Allah accept this Ziyarat from all the mourners of Aba Abdillah (AS). Ameen. And may we be included among the true helpers of Imam Mahdi (AS), even if only through the tears shed for his grandfather, Hussain ibn Ali (AS).
