Commensalism involves one species benefiting while the other is not significantly affected. An example of commensalism is the relationship between remora fish and sharks. Remora fish attach themselves to sharks and feed on the leftover food particles from the shark's meals. The shark is not affected, but the remora fish receive a free meal.
