The PSP’s 4.3-inch, 480x272 screen is a beautiful match for SNK’s pixel art. The games scale surprisingly well, though you’ll notice slight shimmering during fast scrolling. The colors pop, and you can enable a smoothing filter (though purists will turn it off). It’s no CRT arcade monitor, but for a handheld in 2006 (and even today), it’s impressive.
