The premise of the story is shocking in its brutality. Sergei Kravinoff, Kraven the Hunter, has hunted every fearsome beast on Earth. He has defeated great cats, elephants, and even fought superheroes like Spider-Man before. However, he suffers from a deep spiritual emptiness.
