Unlike typical flight simulators with infinite procedural generation, SimplePlanes relies on a hand-crafted, finite world. The "full map" refers to the complete 15km x 15km (approximately) playable area. While you cannot fly endlessly around a globe, you can explore a surprisingly diverse set of biomes and structures if you know where to look.
