Underneath your dishwasher is a plastic "flood tray" or base pan. If even a small amount of water leaks from a hose, pump, or seal, it pools in this tray. A floating sensor (Aquastop/Aqua Control) rises, and the motherboard triggers to stop water intake immediately.

Disconnect the drain hose from your standpipe and put the end of the hose into a bucket on the floor. Run a drain cycle. If the machine empties perfectly into the bucket, your house drain is blocked, not the machine. electrolux e4
