The CPA exam requires mastery of complex topics such as Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Regulation (REG), and the core Discipline sections. These topics require deep focus. Studying in a library, on an airplane, or in a cabin without Wi-Fi is only possible if you have the files downloaded locally on your device.
Because Harris CPA is tactical defense software, it is on standard commercial websites. Access is strictly controlled due to export regulations and security requirements.
The old model (AUD, BEC, FAR, REG) has been replaced with a Core + Discipline model. If you download an older version of Harris CPA materials, you risk studying obsolete topics. For example, the BEC (Business Environment and Concepts) section has been retired and replaced by three discipline options: Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR), Information Systems and Controls (ISC), and Tax Compliance and Planning (TCP).
