Zhong - Wanbing- Xia Qingzi - The Crow- The Tiger...
Xia Qingzi’s defining trait is her ability to remember what has been deleted . In the shared universe, she runs an underground server called "The Greenhouse," where she archives screenshots, edited news clips, and the original versions of documents that have been sanitized.
Zhong Wanbing is often portrayed as a character who defies easy categorization. In the tradition of anti-heroes, Zhong possesses a moral compass that points true north only to him. He is calculating, perhaps cynical, and operates in the shadows of societal structures. Whether he is depicted as a rogue detective, a fixer for the underworld, or a vigilante seeking a twisted form of justice, Zhong represents the "Id" of the narrative—unrestrained, dangerous, and raw. His character arc is defined by a relentless pursuit of truth, often at the expense of his own humanity.
(夏青子 — “summer green seed/child”) → Opposite of “Wanbing”: purity, growth, innocence, potential. A foil or a victim.
Zhong’s narrative arc invariably pits him against a faceless bureaucracy—the "Registry of Calm Skies." When he insists on publishing his findings about a mutated pathogen, he is silenced. When he tries to trace the tiger that escaped from the private zoo, he is told the tiger never existed.
