The first season follows Amberle Elessedil (Poppy Drayton), an Elvin princess; Wil Ohmsford (Austin Butler), a half-elf, half-human healer; and Eretria (Ivana Baquero), a human rover. Together, they must protect a magical seed — the Ellcrys — a dying tree that holds banished demons at bay. If the tree dies, the demon army known as the Dagda Mor and his Reapers will destroy the Four Lands.
