Before diving into the documentary, we must understand the subject. Helvetica was born in 1957 in Münchenstein, Switzerland, designed by Max Miedinger and Eduard Hoffmann. Originally named Neue Haas Grotesk , it was rebranded to Helvetica (derived from Confederatio Helvetica , the Latin name for Switzerland) to appeal to an international market.
