If you only need adb (e.g., to remove bloatware or install apps wirelessly), you don't need the full Amlogic burning driver. Use Google's USB driver.
Before you download and install the driver, you need to ensure you have the correct hardware setup. A failed connection is usually due to hardware issues rather than software.
