Final Destination 3, released in 2006, is the third installment in the franchise. The film takes place two years after the events of the second movie and follows a new group of characters. The story revolves around Wendy Linowski (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), a high school student who has a premonition of a roller coaster derailing, killing everyone on board. After the accident, Wendy and her friends begin to die off one by one, in a series of bizarre and terrifying events.
